Estimate checklist

What to Send for an Accent Wall or Media Wall Estimate

A clear photo checklist that helps us understand the design, wall conditions, approximate scale, and service location.

You do not need exact construction drawings to request a rough estimate. Three project details are enough for the first review.

1

Design photo

Send the Pinterest, Instagram, website, or saved photo that shows the look you want. It is a direction—not a promise to copy the design without adapting it to your room.

2

Wall photo + approximate size

Take a straight photo showing the entire wall, including corners, ceiling, baseboard, outlets, windows, doors, and vents. Add approximate width and height.

3

ZIP code

The ZIP code confirms that the project is in the service area and helps account for travel.

How to take a useful wall photo

  1. Stand far enough back to show the complete wall.
  2. Use normal camera mode rather than a heavy wide-angle distortion when possible.
  3. Turn on the room lights and avoid shooting directly into bright windows.
  4. Do not crop out outlets, switches, vents, or baseboards.
  5. Add a second angle if furniture blocks the wall.

Measurements do not need to be exact

For the first rough range, measure wall-to-wall width and floor-to-ceiling height. Round to the nearest inch or provide feet and inches. Final verification can happen before materials are ordered.

Optional details that improve accuracy

  • TV size or model
  • Electric fireplace model
  • Preferred color or material
  • Whether the TV is already mounted
  • Target installation timing

What happens next?

We review the design direction, compare it with the actual wall, identify the likely materials and integrations, and send a realistic rough starting range. If the range works for you, the project can move to a detailed scope and scheduling.
